The Bleckley Pickleball Association organizes play every week for beginners and veterans alike to come out and enjoy some games. The calendar outlines all of the events we have scheduled. Below the descriptions is a calendar and links to registration can be found in our groupMe or in the calendar invites below. Courts not used for scheduled events are available for open play until 10:00 pm Sun-Thu and until 12:00 am Fri and Sat. For questions, please email play@bleckleypickleball.org
Players will be placed in groups of 4, playing 3 games (1 with each person in their group). After 3 games, the top 2 players with the most wins from each group will move on. This will continue until there are 4 players remaining, where you will play 3 games, and the player with the most wins in the final round is our champion!
Each team consist of two males and two females. Events will consist of a men’s match, women’s match, and two mixed doubles matches following MLP rules and regulations. If you do not have a team for this event, please sign up ‘NEEDING A TEAM’.
Players will compete in a competitive round robin, playing a game with each player. A DUPR account is required and joining BPA’s club on DUPR is preferred. ALL games will be put into DUPR.
Tournament tune-up is designed for a partner pair to be able to play together for team chemistry and expirementation with each other. It started as an opportunity for tournament players to get practice with their partners before a tournament (hence the name), but has grown into a fun event for everyone. You do NOT have to be a tournament player to participate.
This event is for our singles players! Once opted in, players will be assigned designated matches for the evening. We will be playing games to 11, win by 2.
League is run during spring, summer, and fall months. This is a repeating 8 week ladder held on Thursday nights. More information, including how to join, can be found on our Events page here!
All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. Tuesdays are all about BPA and the community coming together and having a great time regardless of skill. Join us at Pickleheads.com
Monday night beginners play: This event is for Beginner's Only or those who want scaled down play. Players are put into groups of 4 and they rotate to a new group after each game. This allows players to get to know each other and mix up the skills levels. Most players have had a Beginner's Clinic, however, it is not a requirement. It's just a fun way to get into the game and connect with other beginner's. It's also a great way to ease back into the game if you've been out for a while or recovering from an injury. Come join us for some fun pickleball.
